Is the skinning different in COD than it's in Il-2?

YES :!:

It is VERY different.
No internals, so you can't see the rivets and lines ect ect so you don't know where is where hock: .
They are .JPG some no more Indexed colours
No need to add weathering as CoD does it for you :o
And the layout of the skins are different than that of Il-2 Sturmovik 1946's

I wish they'd made them as 4096x4096 16mbit PSD files with 10 ready layers for easier skinning.

I wonder why nobody has though of that before.
