And besides. The game doesn't even have the Catalina :wink: What we have is the earlier Nomad that lacks landing gears.

Major Jack Cramm of the Cactus AF fame! Ha. Geiger's pilot that pulled off that torpedo attack and sank that large transport off the beach near Lunga point I think it was.

Yeah, this is the seaplane version, but I do hope we get the amphib with gear. Besides, I believe there were some field mods made (In the REAL field) that allowed the torp to be used, as was the case with Gieger's PBY that had such a mod that allowed it to carry them.

I had in mind re-doing my old CFS-2 cmpn "87 days of Cactus" again. Back then we had a user made PBY that worked well. Pity that CFS2 was such an aborted abomination.

I feel the same way. Just a matter of getting enough people interested I guess. It'd be great to water land, then come right up on shore- but there's soooo much here already, and in dev 8)
