Now that we have heavies flyable - how about Tu-4 "Bull"? Potentially one of the most important players of 1946, the only one who really deserves name "Red Bull"? Big Grin

Very small amount of work to do, compared to other new projects:

3D model is virtually the same as B-29 with different turrets (each turret and tail had two NS-23 23mm cannon for a total of 10 with 100 rpg, which are already in game modelled on numerous aircraft). I see no reason for its DM to be different than the one of B-29.

Engines were very similar to the original ones on B-29, however, they could also be taken from an I-185M71, as M73 on a Tu-4 was slightly modified M71. Consequently by my opinion its performance would closely match the one of B-29 and can remain unaltered.

Weapon loadouts:

Probably similar bombload options as B-29, with Russian equivalents. Can anyone help with info here?

Detailed large format 3D drawings can be found here.

Although it seems pretty obvious I can't recall it being mentioned yet.

Well after I made the suggestion I see it on here. I think the Tu-4 would be fine just taking the B-29 and giving it its own AC slot as a Tu-4. The turrets weren't really that different, and if you give this thing 23mm, it will be suicidal to approach it regardless of skill level due to the android lazer gunner AI. The plane was so closely copied that Boeing was even molded into the rudder Pedals. I would settle for just a new AC slot in the meantime.

It would help with using the skin mod on static AC as well, as conflicts prevent having two static versions of the B-29.

Thanx for all the effort you guys put into this stuff.

If you could find more information and post the links to different website for sources, especially blueprint, thesee will be great help to modders. At once you done these, I will be more than glad to add these reference material to aircraft list under Soviet nation for Tu-4 "Bull".
