static.ini ??
#1

Hi,
I'm a complete noob where MODs are concerned. I've started to install some and I find that I have to add lines to my static.ini file. Unfortunately I have no such file. Please advise. So far I have installed the community installer ver. 1.0.
TIA

Yeah Ya do! Do a search for it in your system. Go to Start, Search, Files and folders, then type the name of the file. You'll find it.

if you don't have any mod that uses altered static.ini ( added entries for new objects ) you don't need it ... game loads one from SFS files

if you need to add lines to it ( installing some mod which requires it ) see my upper post for d/l link

Put the file in your MODS/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects folder (make them if you don't have them already)
