AI NAvlights at Night
#1

The mod by uf_josse does not work for me at all... is there any ways to turn off AI navlights? Or is there any way to make this mod work? Should it need an update, or? Is there something wrong on my end?

mine worked OK...until the mossie with the cookie and flares came out...then it stopped working

So the Mossie once again causes some inconsistencies, eh? Oh well... is this being worked on? What exactly is the conflict?

I actually fixed this for myself by editing the files in Il-2 1946/Files/3DO/Effects/Fireworks so that the radius of the lights was 0.0. Now the planes still turn on their lights, but they don't show up. Unfortunately this also disables landing field lights, etc...

placing EEBBE344D2C2A05A file inside "no_nav_lights" ( or whatever you like) works for me .....

MODS\no_nav_lights\EEBBE344D2C2A05A

quick question Mr J, the executable in your post puts the EEBBE file in the MODS folder and nothing in the Nav_Lights_Off folder, is this how it's supposed to be? I read fly_zo's post to read that it should be in the Nav_Lights_Off folder :?

Cheers

I know things take time MrJolly, I didn't ask if you guys could fix it, now did I? I asked what the problem is so maybe I can try and fix it myself. I never asked for a favor, I didn't mean to come off being rude.

And I have tried what Fly_zo has done, didn't work for me either.. And for some reason, neither does this link you give me. Sad
