It is the EADS/Messerschmitt Foundation Me-163. it is a glider without engine paited in the red layout - but as you can see, impressive enough, what a show!

Yes, wasn't this flown (for a while) by a German guy who trained on 163s in 1945 but never got to fly in combat?

no, no hassle at all, since the problem on landings where the extremely (!!!) explosive and corrosive (esp on flesh) fuel that could leak on you, ignite and so on.
The thing lands pretty easy, the airframe is a very good glider design and supposedly easy to fly.
