Just wondering...over the years I've cutomized almost all the interior screens to use some of my paintings( see below)...but doing the initial title screen has never been an option...Now it might be.Does anyone know how to do this & if so is it easy or do I need to approach one of you pro modders ?

Must be possible as the add-on "The Last Days" introduces a new loading screen.

I use photobucket...but never tried to post something that others could pick-up...also at this size I'd be a bit worried about image being used without permission commercially...

James Dietz.

I've tried unsuccessfully to convert some of your pics(JPGs) into 1024X768 TGA files. Everything looks okay file size and format wise, but for some inexplicable reason I cannot get them to work as Splash Screens. I don't know why.

If you solve the problem, please let me know as I'd like to use "To the Victor" as my Splash Screen.

I used Photoshop to resize the tothevictor.jpg to 1024x666 dimensions (ticked the constrain proportions box) and saved as a 32 bit NON RLE compressed tga file. If you use RLE Compression the splash screen will be black.

This tga is saved in ...il2root\MODS\SplashScreen\GUI folder as Background.tga

Did the same exercise in Gimp and all worked well.

Hope this helps

PS. bloody nice work JD

I get a antivirus warning for:

HTML/Infected.WebPage.Gen (7.04.01.62)

when I open the page http://www.jamesdietz.com/gallery/merch ... =15&step=2

Much probably its just a bad java programming, but you better should make it sure.

Wink

Great paintings anyway!!!
