I had to reinstall il2. his time, I used the unified installer - it works like a charm, thank you so much guys!
However, I have one little problem: the new recticle doesn't show up on Spit IXs. I deleted the Spitfire folders from the REcticle mods folder, and I have a "AvalaSpitfireCockpit" folder. in this, I have a 3DO/Cockpit/SpitfireMkVb and a SpitfireMkIXc folder. When I fly the Vb, everything works fine. When I fly the IXc, everything works except for the recticle. What is the solution? (I deleted the tex15 files from both to get the trim indicator working, but the recticle didn't work before either)

....i believe , your problem is connected with "MKII_Gyro_On" mod ( it introduces new: Retinew.mat ; Retinew.tga :Retinew2.tga files for IXc )....i also have default reticle only on SpitfireMkIXc

I also had this problem once and the way i fixed it is taking the reticle files from the spitfires that DO work and put it in there.... That solved the problem.
