I need help!
I downloaded the Spitfire MkI Version 2.9. I already have Wrapper and Mod Activator but not the Soundmod (I'm happy enough with what I have {HAD} thank you). I hit the .exe on the Spit file and it loaded ok. The command prompt asked me what version of sound I had and I just hit something to continue. When I played the game the first thing I noticed was that the plane list is now alphabetical; Axis and Allied planes are all jumbled together. Who's bright idea was this and how can I get the original style list back?
Anyway, when I went for a flight over CanonUK's English channel there was no engine sound at all. There was the sound of the flaps and gear hydraulics and the sound of the tires on the ground; other than that, total, uncomfortable silence. In a mission I flew last night I also noticed that from a ship battle going on in the distance I could hear the gunfire.
I put a "-" in front of the Soundmod folder name but that hasn't cured anything.
What the heck have I done?
Great days all.
