Grouping Object?
#1

In stead of having static objects in one big list, can you arrange them in groups like what FC did with his shippack mod where it appears under "Shippack / Stationary Shippack" instead of "Ship / Stationary Ship" in FMB?

(ie have LAL_RONE FORTIFICATION MOD listed under a group called "Fort-mod" instead of listed under "Objects" in FMB)

you are free to sort the static.ini how you want

the default groupings list them by type eg. Pacific/norway/russia etc... in the order they appeared in the game since it first came out...and with new objects in the patches

I keep all the modded items at the bottom

I've done what you have done and just added the modded items at the bottom of the static.ini, but that's not what I meant.

If you look at the image below you can see my FMB object groups / categorises, edited into the image in red text is "Lal_Rone Fort-mod".

This is a new group / category that I would like to add containing all the objects from LAL_RONE FORTIFICATION MOD.

I am just using Lal Rone's mod as an example here but I want to know if this possible to add new object groups / categorises like this?

It only shows them like that in the Fully unlocked map tools FMB

I wish it did it in the FMB+ too
I hate all those numbers

Will try out what you said

It might be possible by adding header lines into the static.ini.

I am not sure about the format of the header lines. They may be the same format as the header lines used by Shippack2 in the chief.ini and static.ini.

I certaintly hope this is possbile. +1 on the comment that it is a pain having to troll through artibitrarily names objects in normal FMB to find the objects that you want. It would make mission building much much easier!

Objects could be sorted not only by theatre, but also by type i.e. N Asia - Houses etc
