Could one of you clever modders make us a Ju 88 S-3 / T-3 , please please !
They were identical to the A-4 apart from the ventral gondola was removed and engines were upgraded with GM-1 boost system, making them the fastest 88's ! the nose cone were slightly altered but should not be a major obstacle. Several hundred A-4 were converted in 1943-44 being used as PathFinders /Special Recon/ a/c.
Hope this will tempt someone ;@)
I will of course be of help with documentation.

Unfortunently, from what I know about modding, any change to weapons or FM are big changes, and this mod includes both, from the gondola gun being removed, to the boost.

Of course it would be a good addition, but it seems unlikely in the near future.

As an afterthought, there is a torpedo carrying Ju-88 without the gondola, which is slightly faster, which you could probably use as the S-3\T-3, just with a re-paint

A Ju 188 would be too big a Mod, (wings/ tail /fuselage) so to speak!

A Ju88S/T would be awesome as the LW needs some late-war bombers. I believe the Jumo-engined Ju88S-3 would be easiest to make "graphically" speaking. A BMW-engiend Ju88S-1 would be cool though (Wicked exhaust note). I also believe that the Ju88S/T series uses the Ju88A-1 style rear canopy with only 1 gun. While difficult to model, this could also be applied to Ranwers' Ju88G-1 project so I think there is alot to be gained from making it.

That's as good a starting point as any. I'm willing to wait quite a while for these. The beauty of the Ju-88 series is the commonality of the variants allowing for one fix made for the G-series to be applied to other variants as needed, and so on.

I second this motion! I'd love to see the Junkers Ju 88G-1/G-6 and/or G-7 in the IL-2 roster. Is this nightfighter under consideration for modding by the AAA team or should I make a formal request?
