i wanted to do some minor work just for my own.. adding small things too my favorite planes, but i cant find the files for them.. are they all locked or am i just looking in the wrong places?

u need the sfs extractor with the latest filelist + the image converter (requires .net 2.0)

okay.. apperently because im running vista net 2.0 is already installed..
and i found the sfs extractor, the copy is the 2.0 beta 11..

what next?

Next just run sfs.exe and point it to fb_3do04.SFS file in your Forgotten Battles game root folder. Give it a minute or two and it will show you the list of game resourses files. Select (LMB + Shift) ALL files related to the desired plane's cockpit (ex.: 3DO\Cockpit\A6M5a) and then RMB "extract All" to any location. After some time you'll have the full set of cockpit files. If you want to change the textures only (don't want to tinkering with any 3D stuff) then just delete all the files except TGA-files.
Then just open these TGA-s with TGA convertor by DrJones (available at this site) and save them with the same names. Now they're ready for editing in PS. So make nice cockpits to please us all! :wink:

Простите, коллега. У меня практически нет больше свободного времени (новая работа,
семья и т.д.)... Но, если оно вдруг появится, то всё равно я сначала сделаю кокпит на ЛаГГи, потом на Ил-ы, и только потом доделаю остальные модели "Яшек"... Так что... звиняйте...

okay now i have a new problem.. i think this is the right program..

theres no readme txt files to help with this.. i have no clue how to make them readable..
and i cant find these parts!

i intend to place a small photo there, but if i cant find them i will settle for this spot..
