Hi all:
Well, I don't what I've done but I've lost my PBY hangar. As I'm placing objects on the ground I toggle through the objects using the down cursor key when I notice the same building staying on the ground twice. I go one more key stroke and hit the next hangar. I toggle up one key stroke and the same hangar stays on the ground.
I've run into this before with missing objects so I go into the 3do\buildings\Pacific folder. No Hangar_PBY of course because it's an old object. I open the fb_3do08p.SFS file and proceed to 3do\Buildings\Pacific. There's the little bugger right there - Hangar_PBY. I copy it and go back to STD\3do\Buildings\Pacific and paste the folder there. Still no joy.
In the static.ini file I've replaced the lines:
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Pacific/Hangar_PBY/live.sim
MeshDead 3do/Buildings/Pacific/Hangar_PBY/dead.sim
with:
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Pacific/Hangar_Briq2/live.sim
MeshDead 3do/Buildings/Pacific/Hangar_Briq2/dead.sim
Now it shows up but of course it's not really the PBY hangar. Doing this would globally replace every PBY hangar on every map with the Briq2 hangar - someting I don't particularly want.
Can anyone help out here?
