Hello,

Some weeks ago I downloaded the Nachtjaegger aircraft mod (jet plane). It appears with some kind of antenna in the noise. Is it a night radar? What is it for and how to use it?
What's the difference between the standard version and the Nachtjaegger ?(Night Fighter I understand)...
Oh and also please could somebody explain to me clearly how to put images in posts?

Would it be possible to edit the type of aircraft the game perceives the 234-NJ to be, so that it acts like a fighter instead of a bomber? Currently the aircraft will not engage enemy bombers if left to the AI.

Fug 218 "Neptun" Radar? It is purely cosmetic (ie. you can't use it for anything).

In real life the aircraft had a lot of bomber related equipment removed and a bunch of new equipment added to help with night navigation etc. It also had a second crew member sandwiched in the fuselage (who operated the Radar). Oh, and it has two forward firing cannon.

Interestingly, I don't see any references of the rearward facing cannon being removed. It is quite plausible that they were left in given the fact that both of the later Arado large nightfighter proposals had fixed rearward firing cannon (eg. http://www.luft46.com/arado/3bapi.jpg).
