I am returning to IL2 after a long 3 year drought. I heard about MODS and how they make the game look better. Some questions I have:

How do I download and install MODS?

Will running MODS online get me banned?

In order to play with MODS online, do you have to play on a MODS only server?

if you play online via hyperlobby:

i think the most servers have version 4.08

the only servers i know where you can play with mods is of course the AAA server and the BoB 1940 server

for mods:
I suggest installing the unified installer wich is easy to install :
