Hi gents
I've noticed a few posts of late, where guys are having weird problems in QMB/FMB, so I thought I'd just add the latest weird issue that's started happening to me.
Example: I'm playing a P51 campaign, mission to escort 2 B17's. In the briefing, I should be in a P51, but I start the mission in a B17. Weird.
I exit the mission, open it in FMB, and check that the P51 is checked as pilot plane. It is. Save the mission. Restart it in campaign mode, and...I'm back in the B17!!! :?:  Very weird. The game has ignored the mission settings! Reboot machine/restart game, no difference.
So, what the heck is causing it to ignore the mission parameters, and select a different AC as flyable in the mission?
Above is an example, a similar thing has started to happen with other campaigns. Very weird.
Anyway, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, just thought I'd share, and see if anyone else has a similar prob. Maybe together we can investigate a bit more. Might this be an error with the DGen or NGen files, or some such?
cheers
