I simply love the work all you Modders here have done so far. You all have given New Life and new realism to the IL-2 1946 Community and with the mapmods and flyable AI planes you have given IL-2
new life. However I would like to Request a Modded Realistic Cockpit for the B-17E/F/G and B-24's.
The B-25 cockpit is ok, but it takes away the realism of the B-17's and B-24's Bombers. Besides the B-24 Bomber Cockpit is different then what the B-17/B-25 cockpit are. I have two pictures one of the B-17 and the other the B-24. Here is the cockpit of the B-17:

Now is there any cockpit modders up to taking a crack at building the B-17 and B-24 Cockpit. This cockpit mod for both B-17 and B-24 would really enchance the game and planes.

+1 for the B-24 pit. Hey Kabayo, have you seen rawners fantastic B-17g cockpit. it is sure to please. Get it in the download cockpits and gunners section

There is your B17G cockpit, which was finished recently. As for the rest of the B17 series and the B24 I have no idea when or if they will be modelled.

Pirate and Ulrich rudel, just downloaded and try out that B-17G v7 cockpit and I find it great. Now if they added this to it, it would make that B-17G cockpit more realistic.

This is the PDI centering system that the bombardier takes over the aircraft on the bombing run. Now if they could just place that in the center just below were the throttles are then this would be a near realistic and historcial cockpit. I hope rawners read this thread and think about adding this part to the B-17G cockpit.
