Slow, do you mean the ingame or real armour weight?
Any of the two is welcome, but the real life one would be perfect.
I do not believe that, as the max takeoff weight of a normal 109 lies little over 3000kg
Anyway, hereby I announce the "Rammjaeger Bf-109" as a mod. A Bf-109 stripped down from armour and weapons for the ramming job.

A totally different point: armour is successfully removed and I already got shot down a few times by defensive gunners of B-24s before I had a ramming chance.

I don't know much about htis 109. Was it actually used as a ramming plane?
I know the tactic was used, but thought it was more of a 'in the moment' kind of thing, rather than an actual tactic, which they actually designed a plane for? Interesting... 8)
My guess is that it really was just a hasty field mod, after all if you decide to use your aircraft for ramming what use is the armour and weaponry on it and afterall its not really that much of a difficulty to remove it.
