Need a little help with Ju87 gunsight (UPDATED THREAD!)
#1

HELLO FRIENDS!

1)I am using BF109 cockpits repaint mod by FREDDY and want to bring those new collimating gunsight

As i see it can be done, because stuka and Bf109 are using the same collimating gunsight.

The files like
Revi_d0.msh Revi_d1.msh Bf109F2ReViGlass.tga Bf109F3ReVi.tga Bf109F2ReVi Bf109F2ReViGlass Bf109F3ReVi pont.tga i found in the cockpit mod folder of the early messerschmitts, i puted this files in the stuka's 3DO mod's folder and it's still nothing, cockpit is not loading, maybe i need to do some improvements with hier.him

Sorry for stupid questions, i am new to il2 modding, but i really want to update the stuka's cockpit to the final end!

screenshot that describes what i need to do in stuka

2)And the secound question is about map files, you know, when you are choosing the field in the main screen at multiplayers start, you are clicking on the icon of the field, i want to find in .sfs files this icons to edit them for my widescreen mod.

BEST REGARDS, REGEN

Yayo, I think he wants the gunsight, with housing, tubes/wires, lens and new ironsight, i.e. the whole collimating gunsight.

Hi Regen,

To follow your PM,

Arrow Make sure the hier.him you have in the Stuka cockpit deals with the EXACT names of the msh/tga files you've taken from Freddy's cockpit mod.

Arrow You have to know that if your Stuka cockpit won't load, then,it means there is an error between the names in the hier.him and the names of the files you've taken from Freddy's cockpit mod Wink Wink

Arrow Make also sure that the stock stuka files you want to replace are not writtent anymore in the hier.him file in the Stuka cockpit folder.

This is a very easy error to do,but hopefuly,an easy error to correct.

Nice work you intend.I'll be happy to see the result Smile
