Hi i installed the unifed installer 1.1 and now when i start the game i have no control my mouse doesnt move none of my keys work its like it thinks im not on the game but i am

I have the same problem (I thought I had cured it). ALT TAB doesn't work, all it does it bring up the box on screen and when choosing the game the popup stays in the middle of the screen and nothing changes.

Incidentally the only way I can get it to work is to CTRL ALT DEL and stop the application, which is listed in the Task Manager as "not responding". Then after closing the task if I immediately restart IL-2 loads properly.

I run IL-2 at 1600x1200 because that was the only resolution in the setup that gave me a full screen and not a letterbox screen, I run my desktop at 1280x1024.

I just edited my config file in IL-2 to force 1280x1024 and the game loaded perfectly first time.

EDIT: nevermind for that second link. After installing it yesterday my game worked the whole time but the problem is back now

Sometimes simply pressing the start key works for me. Press it, and the screen should switch to desktop. Then press IL2 again, and voila..... or at least for me.

Hey thatnks for the help guys i got the game working but know how come i cant release any bombs out of the b-29 or the b-17

Bombay door key.
Set the Power 10 key to something to open and close the bombay doors
or go into your MODS folder and rename "BombBayDoors_Plus_v2_0" to
"-BombBayDoors_Plus_v2_0" to disable it

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem with the game window. I've tried everything here and sometimes it works but the next time I start it won't. The 4.09 w/mods is especially stubborn, and 4.08 was working but now it crashes at 60%.

Any help?

A little late to reply, but maybe it will help others. What works for me is:

[CTRL+ESC], then clicking the game-button in the taskbar.
