Yes indeed. I like these 'old-fashioned' looking warships. many look like holdovers from the Great War or shortly afterwards, but that is all to the better. It's good there are these more modest ships to use. Aircraft carriers and battleships are all good and well, and look lovely, and shoot up everything in sight. But for a typical engagement a routine pilot would get into, I'd say these kind of vessels are more fitting ...
Some civilian vessels would be great too ... these are also an under-represented class of vessel in the shippacks ...
Yes, these guns will be updated on the steamer. IMHO - so realistic for the rivers and lakes ... They have a small sector of fire in reality, but look colorful! Against aircraft put Browning ... ) Drink! Later ..
I also have the ship pack II in my sfs files.I did the mods folders as you have shown and added the files you suggested.I can place the gunboat on the map in FMB and actually see it but when the mission starts it isn't there. It goes in the MODS folder
GUNBOAT/3DO "and the files you suggested"/Planes/Ship0 ect.Maybe I need more files than you suggested? Can't just drop in Ship pack II,some conflict somewhere crashes at 70.Any help would be appreciated.Like the gunboat, she must be hauling alot of contraband, sittin pretty low in the water! Thanx
I'm coming to the conclusion that ship0 is loading in a sinking state,I'm kinda confused, the other ships are fine.???
Yes. This was the first experience and I do not know how to separate the canopy from ground level))))
But normally swims ... now I know)))
Converted all the ships.ini data for ship0 in columns like the rest of them and all is well now.Don't know why that made a difference. The others are still in the original format. Thanks for the Ships,She kinda reminds me of the Gunboat Panay, our first clash with the Japanese.
Lediybird and Panay will be made and isolated in its slot as the USS Langley ...
