Hello all,
I'm working on flying with the Mouse in IL-2. Using shr's 6DOF Mouse mod 0.7, I can do it, though there are a few problems (see p. 9 of this thread:

but I just found a Russian dude who apparently can use the mouse instead of joystick in UNMODDED Il-2, and it looks quite easy and convenient. Here is his manual where he explains his setup:

Unfortunately it is in Russian and machine translations just don't work well enough.
This guy calls himself -SCS-UHU online, I think, and aleksalpine on Youtube, and here are his videos about IL2 with PPMouse etc:

He also uses PPJoy, IL2-JoyCtrl 1.4.2a, and something called NewView ver. 37_k. I've been fiddling with all this and I just can't figure out exactly how he's doing it. I emailed him through Youtube and he answered immediately, but he only knows a little English so he could only tell me about his manual and that I must use NewView. (Sounds like quite a nice fellow, I wish I could speak Russian.)
Can anyone help with this? Maybe Russian-English speakers out there?
