Hi again
Thought I'd start a fresh post for this, I guess its a fresh probem ...
After eventually getting UI1.1 up and running this morning, I've got this issue with no 6DOF.
Here's the dtory in brief: Installed UI1.1 over fresh IL2 4.08 ......fine.
Installed UI patch 1.1.1....................fine
Installed Language fix+RAF Rank fix.............fine.
Thats ALL I've got on this install. So now, using the Version Switcher (any option) results in no 6DOF.
I've run the bat file for it, but still nothing. Tried installing the XY folder from the 6DOF download...no go
removed the 6dof folder from MODS folder.....no go.
Tried taking the files from the 6dof folder, and put them into the 'files' folder....still no go.
I'm fast running out of ideas here. Any advice would be most appreciated.
(I'm wanting to use the mouse version) 8)

Hey big boss, PM me your email address and I'll send you my folder... I know I played with it for a while before i got it working, but it IS working for me. Hopefully this will solve the problem for you. Gotta be quick though... I'm heading out for the weekend in an hour or so.

Hey bigboss,
You may have already tried or checked this,but if not I will put this as a reminder. If you have gunsight view activated,6 dof will not work,ie, the zoom in and out will not work. Not sure if this will help or not,just thought I would throw this out there. Good luck,I'm sure it will get sorted out.

Its not the gunsight view, rclark - It's just the basic fact that the UI 1.1 install dopesn't give me 6DOF.
I've tried another install now -4th TIME!!! Still nothing!
I'd really be happy if one of the AAA folk, who had something to do with the UI, would at least try to help out.I mean, what am I supposed to do?
Its now day 4 of attempting to install UI 1.1 - I'm no further than when I started.
It would seem now that in the future, if you don't have UI 1.1, you won't be able to use the newer mods (AC) - fair enough, but where does that leave me, and others like me with similar issues, and seemingly no support? I've tried my best so far to get it working properly, and no go. And I do know a thing or two about these mods and file structures already, so what must a poor noob feel like?

Just letting you all know that I've finally sorted it out.
There was a bit of confusion over the mouse 6dof version, it would seem...

Hi, I' ve the bigbossmalone' s same problem, 6 dof don' t work but only 2 dof.
In other games (FSX for example) it' s ok.
