There are some interesting general aspects that prove some facts:
1. Most colour profiles are approximate, but rarely exact to the real plane. 3 profiles with different nose for the same plane? Two of these are wrong!
2. Colours and markings slightly changed even for a same plane. Sometimes because they were repainted, other times (rarely, but it happened) because it was a new plane that replaced a lost one.
3. A high percentage of Bf-109 ended in a crash. It's interesting to see that in most cases, the fuselage broke at some point behind the cockpit.
