Over time, I have learned about downloading/copying/pasting skins into the Paint Schemes/Skins aircraft folders. Now, when dealing with the modded aircraft (specifically the typhoon these past couple of days), it isn't that easy anymore, at least not for me. Can someone give me a procedure to follow when trying to do it. When I unzip these skins downloads, there isn't anything there that looks familiar, like the old .bmp files I was used to seeing. And I can't see anything I can just copy and paste like I know how to do.

And remember, try as I might, I can't get as smart as you guys. And I'm probably quite a bit older (66), so try and give me the pointers in as simple a language as possible.

I appreciate the prompt response. And, I understand what you are telling me. I'm gonna try that this evening. It's kinda embarrassing having to ask questions like that since I seem to be the only one having such problems, but I just swallow my pride and go ahead.

Nice to hear there are other old fellers here. My main trouble, I'm afraid, is stupidity (from old age?). I understand maybe a third of what is said in this and other forums. That "buttons" deal, for example, man, that is a killer. Not even a clue! But, I do enjoy screwing around with the game. I hose it up every so often, but I have backed it up when it's running right. Newegg had a deal not too long ago on an external drive so I sprung for one.
