Rise Of Flight

Hi mates . You know that Rise of flight allready in Russia :?: 7 may is the oficcial anounced first trading day for this game. For i month im serching for this game on torrents ... but nothing .So i buy it . I dont know how about this game on the other side of atlantic , but we allready can buy this game .
Here's the resources for this , it's russian site for my countryman's. Find were you can get this game.
I have crashed when i find information about beta testing in march this year . Cry
As i understend , there are 2 online servers already.

So tell us, what planes are in the original release ? How about the DRM protection ? Is an internet access still needed at all times to play ? those pics are just outstanding but we want to know more !! Big Grin

Also, if you can play it, would you mind telling us what your system specs are, how the game runs on your machine and maybe post a few ingame screens of the sim running on your computer ?

I'm just slightly below the minimum specs...

2.4 GHz Core 2 Quad
2 Gb RAM (was going to add a Gb for ArmA2 anyway...)
9800GT @ 512mb which is really just a buffed up 8800 GTX @ 768Mb... I may not have as much memory but it should process the images faster so...

With AMD X4 II 940, 4 GB RAM, 1GB GTS 250, Vista 64-bit, settings on high, 1920x1200, 4xAA 4xAF - 40 - 50 fps.

someone got it with a dual core + GPU with 512mb???
(knew that I should've take a quad instead of dual....... :x )

Other systems from betatest:

X2 3800, 2 GB RAM, 320MB 8800GTS, 1280/1024, settings on medium, ground on low, post effects off - 20-27 fps with two or three planes in air. With 5+ unplayable.

E8400, 4 GB RAM, 512 MB 8800GTS, 1280/1024, all on high, 1280/1024, 4xAA, 4xAF - 30-50 fps. Escorting bombers, 8+ planes in air, flak - 18-20 fps.

the E8400 specs are similar for me, damn, this game demanding

I should be ok at 1680/1050 if I dont put AA

So from what im reading this sim is programmed in multiple threads? Or not? Because if not quad is not required,it is the frequency of single core which is important.And looks like highend GPU with more than 768Mb is a must.Piss on it,I will not buy another expensive hardware because of this.I will stick to Red baron and later Canvas knights :roll:
