New map:

SCW maps very needed, so as Ju52 with bombing facility, and I-15, and, possibly, R-Zet. Just re-read the book Gnevnoe nebo Ispanii by A.I.Gusev, Vojenizdat, Moscow 1973. Wishing you all the time you need for completing your tasks.

Hi Simmers and Modders!
It is about the time to announce a new map in the works:
Team International Brigade's Andalucia / Guerra Civile (working Title)
It is by far our biggest task so far as screenshots below will show. Therefore i will ask volunteers to join in. We need:
-Spanish Civil War geeks for information
-Spanish speaking people
-actors tool specialist, because Mr Kapteeni can't use that tool yet.And the map is big!
-and at later point beta testers, mission/campaign builders.
-And if someone could model JU 52 to be able carry bombs that would be cool!
Optional:
And some new aircrafts too. Man, They did have some weird planes at the time!
Also some important landmarks like churches and so one would be great to have.

We will put our hearts and souls in to this project. We will try to make it as good as possible.
Because of summer and RL reasons, the map will be ready earliest at November.

Here is mr Kapteenis personal message:

"I'm really excited about this project. SCW was a horrible war as civilwars always are, but i like the aeroplanes at the time. And i never ever will fight for Fascism!lol. I love to fly as a german in eastern front, but in SCW, never!"

Screenshots of basic works: Mr. agracier has done outstanding job with this map. It needs only a bit fiddling. He is amaster of making new textures, and he does produce them in a pace that even mr. Good ol mighty would be surprised! Kapteeni has take his first stumbling steps to populate map. So far he has made some city templates. Most of them are based to he's earlier maps and looks like he has stolen something from other maps too. He is a real bada** modder!
We will update this thread as often as possible. And we are ever so greatfull to any information about the Spanish Civil war. Links ,photos of (girls) airfields .
