Well, i am 34 and i hope to play it before i get 40!!

I spent 6 months last year in a hospital bed fighting for my life, and I am not getting any healthier. I doubt I will ever see SOW. When I did place my pre-order it was in 1997. Then they removed it from their website @gogamer, and said what they said... the publisher dumped it... or was it someone took a dump on it. :lol: .. well either way..

I waited for years for Emprie Total war to come out but quickly found it buggy and boring compared to Medieval 2 Totalwar so just goes to show, maybe IL2 might be more enjoyable to play?

I suspect I'll need a new computer to play it!

By the time it comes out PCs will be a thing of the past. We'll have the PS8, x=box 4th dimension and Call of Duty Space Warfare. You'll see

By God not that far away in the future,but it will come about eh time the Mig 29 is done in IL2, and we will launch an campaing simulating the Gulf War (1991). I can't wait to fly the Mig 21 when it appears here.

Who truely knows when this sim will come out or what's the hold up. Heck over at simhq there were a couple of posts throwing out odds if we will actually see screenshots in september. Didn't seem to be any takers though personally 8-1 seems the best bet at this point.

I dunno, I'm happy for the delay. Thanks to all the people here, IL2 just gets better and better. I vowed I would get a new PC (well new 24" iMac anyway) when it comes out, so its saving me money in the wait! if it waits till fall or later, my new machine will have Snow Leopard and probably a speed bump over todays machine
