Looking good Zorin!
I hesitate to mention it, but I know you thrive on details... I noticed that the engine cowlings on the wings have a slight innacuracy to their shape. They should have a taper ie: be smaller at the back and wider at the front. Kind of funnel shaped. Some post-war types had the tube like cowls, like those seen above. However as I understand it, the pre and wartime versions did not. Hope I'm not throwing a spanner in the works... :?

They do taper actually.

I just love this plane! Thanks for your great attention to detail in the overhaul Zorin.

I too would like to see a bomb load out and a cargo load out; but just to fly her is a privilege enough.

Well done mate!

Very fine work Zorin - your detail improvements are impressive. They inspired me to read up about the Ju 52, and while doing so I came across these pictures:

I appreciate this Ju 52 version would involve rather more work than you may wish to become involved in right now, but it might be interesting for the future if it could be made to interact with mines. Flying this thing would be a new experience in IL2 and it would represent a new class of aircraft for the game. The major difficulty would presumably lie in arranging for only the minensuche Ju 52 to set off mines on low approach.

Incidentally, you may be aware that many later model Ju 52s (from the 9e on) were provided with a hood for the nose engine to prevent oil coating the windscreen - though it was often removed in the field:

Wowzah :OO I can think of no single mod that could add so much to the Norway and Crete maps ;dd

The workhorse of Luftwaffe commando units...

It will find its rightful place in history on these maps

Thanks so much :!:

BTW: if you post a d/l link, please post it here too 8)

The nacelles of many planes could be redone, but this is a great start!

New default skins. Will be included in summer and winter version for both the regular and seaplane version.

Thanks Zorin- looking forward to this. Big Grin

The octagonal nacelles have always been an immersion killer for me :???:

First I'd like to say that your work is amazing. Next, I would like to suggest reworking the fuel trailer that was in a couple of those shots and the ground crews. Make them look real and you will be a Modder God.
