Excellent work so far, CARRY ON!!!!

There are going to be more maps of Spain coming out, so it would be really great if there were actual Spanish objects to use. Say some houses, a finca or 2, a few ornate churches and monateries, some castles ... it would really spruce up the Spanish landscape ...

Such objects would help make the cities on Spain maps seem more appropriate ...

it's a great idea agracier, and I wish I could be of help on that, but first I need to learn some basics...

I was wondering if there is any difference between the two load.ini files ?

Both hrt_ebro1938_load.ini and hrt_ebro1938_loadGCE.ini seem to have the same textures in the same texture slots.

The only difference I

Wonderful!!!

Can't wait to see the final result.

And after this one, if it's not asking too much, I would really like to see other parts of Spain mapped.

Keep up the outstanding work!

A first one of Spain ought to be ready within a considerably short period from now, it will be of Andalucia, from Gibtaltar/Ceuta to around Granada/Guadix. and I also have one in the working of the Madrid area, a smaller map. But smaller or not, it will probably have to be more densely populated and that is always the snag, the bottleneck in map making.

And also, somewhat related there is another of Spanish Morocco as well.

it is good you to be working on those, because I am in a hard work schedule, on my real profession, and it wil take me longer than expected to complete this very map. By the way, I remember your remark on the necessity of having Sapnish objects, buildings I guess, for the many Spanish maps going on. I have already enjoyed your textures - really great - and having new objects developed for Sapnish maps, which regreatfully I lack the knowledge to work on, would be a real crack, have you worked on some of those that you might be willing to share?

cheers,

cheers,

If I had I would certainly have shared them on the forum ... but, I have no clue at all on how to make objects. Not a single notion on how to do anything in the way of 3D objects whatsoever - no skills or knowledge at all, nothing, nada. Someone else will have to make some Spanish objects because I do not know how.

So that's a pity I know, but I will have to stick with map making so far ...

By the way, if you take a few Egypt houses and stick them together in a row, and use these together with 'normal' Russia/German houses, then it does give a certain approximation of Spanish buildings when seen from far away. Can't use too many ad none with 'no roof', but for country fincas and such, it's not so bad a solution ...

thanks anyway agracier, I'll try to learn something on 3D object production
cheers
