I have been trying and trying doggedly to get the open bases, ie: Channel, and Slovakia map bases to let me scramble from the apron vice the designated take-off landing points. I know it's possible because I have played coops where it was done from and established base. Does anyone have a mission where this is done?... I'm not talking about an improvised base but one that is coded into the map. If so would you send it to me so I can open it and see how it's done. I would appreciate it

and you can put individual aircraft anywhere on the field that you wish.

Yep, tried that, used 0 fuel, if you use the take off icon, it puts you on the takeoff hard point, I move it back where I want it and it stays. But when I save, close the mission and try it in multi-player it has move the A/C back to the take off point. Hence my dilemma.
(1) With the reduced airfield radius mod, planes can now start from tarmacs without the 'snap-on' effect. In FMB, place them at a distance greater then 50 m from a runway icon. Closer than 50m then it will spawn on the runway.
(2) Without the reduced airfield radius mod (standard game), place a "rtakeoff" waypoint, then drag it to where you want the plane to spawn. Provided it is more than 1.2km (1200mm) from the runway the plane will spawn where placed. Closer than 1.2km then it will spawn on the runway.
