What I did to fix my problem was I went into ...1946\Missions\Single\GB and made two folders, for Fighterboys and FB2, then upzipped the missions and properties into them. It works. Tried it awhile ago. I didn't even know you could do that. Learn something new every day I guess.
Anyhow, thank you all for helping me.
bob, ,its not neccessary to make different maps for a single mission, the map \fighterboys would have been enough considering the two missions are from 1 campaigns list that Poltava is making. so if he makes a third mission and give it as a download then just put the missions and propertie files in the Fighterboys map, this way you get a list in your game of the 3 missions
Exactly! You only need one folder. They will house all mission, these two ones and the next.

The mission I played was BoB-cbm2. In any case, the mission I flew ran very smoothly, keeping to 35fps even in the furball. Maxed at 59fps and min was 13fps. Didn't notice when the 13fps was; always seems to be near the takeoff... has something to do with rendering the dust clouds... Also, not using the 'lite' version of canon's objects... using the full install.
My rig:
Monitor = Acer LCD at 1600 x 900
CPU = P4 650 at 3.4Ghz
Graphics = ATI Saphire X1650 512Mb AGP
RAM = 2Gb DDR
HDD = WD 320Gb SATA with 32Mb cache
So not a new or powerful rig by any means! Very nice work!
