Does anyone know why there are no proper Italian markings (I don't play as the Italians much so i have only just noticed it.)

I do have Forgotten Countries v1.01 could that be the problem


At the moment they just look like this, with only a number on the side.



But it should look like this with the Fascist roundel am I right?

You might give Mat manager a shot. I'm currently using it and it gives pretty good italian markings.
Its available at mission4today. Its a pain to load but its worth it. I believe there is a read me with.
I fly off line but I'm running mat manager and forgotten countries and I dont see any conflicts.
Give it a shot and if you need help loading mat manager I can help you.

Hmm, If you turn the aircraft around you will notice that on the Italian Aircraft the markings do appear on the wings. They just have a number on the fuselage.

maybe you have to change the default .tga file for italian cr.42.

download this and put the files in the default folder in mods/skinmods/cr42(it)

i think that mat manager is not compatible with nations and squadrons mod, bye!

How about having these Italian markings for ALL aircraft markings that fly for the Italians or the Italian side? How about having these markings for all aircraft when you select Italy in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946.
I would really like that and it would make IL-2 Sturmovik more historically accurate. Can somebody please do this?
