Thank you AAA team for the UI 1.2 and Lodestone for the torrent so people could download a error free update. The install, installed without a hitch. Great work, how ever I have one question to ask. When UI 1.1 was installed you had to hit the windows key and click on the game in the tast bar so the cursor would work. You only had to do this one time, but now you have to do it every time with UI 1.2.

Does anyone else have this problem, and has anyone ever figured out a way to end this problem? It's not a really big deal, just annoying.

... problem is that game doesn't run in full screen (on top) mode the minute you start it ... so if you click anywhere on desktop or have another application/ window active while loading, game will act like background (inactive) window .

that is why you need to make it active again via tray .

It happens to me with clean stock 4.09 just as much ...

hope this helps

Not quite, it will freeze without anything else open (I know because it happens to me too).

I too have this problem with one of my many IL-2 set ups. The particular set up is IL-2 4.09m + UI 1.1 +UI 1.2 (with SAS button to make everything work). The set up worked okay with just the IL-2 4.09m + UI 1.1, but when I added UI 1.2 yesterday, the "frozen mouse" started on that setup.

As a result, I tried a test tonight with a clean IL-2 4.08m +UI 1.1 + UI 1.2 and no frozen mouse. Now I just have to figure out how to upgrade to 4.09m while keeping UI 1.1 + UI 1.2 and no frozen mouse.

To me it sounds like a file conflict that is causing the problem, I just do not know what file yet.

Another thing strange thing, my mouse only froze the "first" time I played my Il-2 4.09m + UI 1.1 + UI 1.2 setup, thereafter it played fine every time after that until I rebooted my PC and it would "freeze" the mouse the first time I tried to play my setup again.

I allways though the problem was related to the game switcher. As an experement I set my game to 409 no mods, then put a minus sign in front of the game switcher and started the game. Everthing worked fine, no window key required. I hope that helps.
