AAA mod pack

I enjoy the UI and now that a lot of servers are using it AND enforcing crt=2, have you ever considered releasing a compiled version of the UI?

I'm checking out the HSFX pack that i recently heard about, and its actually very simple to use. I think the misconception is that it limits the mods available to the user, but it has a mod folder where brand new mods can be added.
With some of these load times it just seems like common sense, no?

If you guys don't release a compiled version, is there a tool i could use to compile my own?

I'm also having trouble meeting crt=2, for what ever reason, though i know my game is on the up and up, but i think having a compact version may make it easier to meet those standards.

Eventually, its something you would have to consider, right? The more mods that get added the larger the UI gets.

The problem is that "we can't compile new sfs files". Yes we can extract them and then change them and edit them and put them into the Mods folder and make it use them instead of the ones in the sfs files but the compiling ability is not available. Team Daidalos who released the 409 patch are able to compile them back into sfs files because they have been given the tools by oleg for everything in IL2. They will be the only modding team to get these tools so unless AAA can hire a programmer to make a compiler then it won't work. The person who started off mods with the Sound mod called QTim spent around 7 years trying to crack the code of this game. He was trying since it came out with the first version. The sound mod he managed to make what his first success.

Sorry but what do you mean by HSFX4...? It's not a common term used on this site so I doubt u'll find anyone knowing what that's supposed to stand for...

ah ok I see, but as yet AAA do not have access to this function so if you want the UI forthcoming versions to be in sfs files then contact monguse via PM.

I understand not wanting to distribute the compiler, but its seems progressive to use such a compiler on the UI as it continues to expand.

I'm only picky about the mods i use because loading all of them takes much more time. After playing with the HSFX pack, its really kind of convenient and also includes the switcher so some or all mods can be excluded. There are people who might not want the advanced textures or clouds.
It just seems like an easy way to bring all the mods together under one pack, and still allow the flexibility for expansion.

There really is no down side that i'm aware of, being that the mods people create can still be shared and distributed the way they are now, and placed into the mods folder outside of the SFS files.

It probably depends on the user, and many people tend to shy away from change especially when they are used to using something that has already worked for them.
To me it seems like the next step in the progression of this game as more and more mods keep being added to it.

I also think the demand is there, and i really don't see people not using it. If they'd just get over the hump and try something new, then they might see how easy it is. I was say to myself, why haven't they been doing it this way before?
