Happy over the new Spain maps and the new aircraft available to us, I've built another Spanish Civil War campaign. It is called "Wings of the Condor". It is a semi-historical, 8-mission static campaign, set in the Spring 1937. You are a pilot in the German Legion Condor, that has volunteered to go to Spain.
You will fly both the Henschel Hs123A, a single-seat biplane dive bomber and close-support attack aircraft, and, later on, the new Messerschmitt Bf109B. You have been stationed to the southern front, that is comparatively quiet. For now...
You can download it here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php? ... ils&id=426
In this campaign Agraciers fabulous Cartagena map is used as a sort of "generic" map over southern Spain - which, of course it fits perfectly: it has a genuine spanish feeling, with paradores, fincas, bullrings and all. Super job, Agracier!
The reason for this is that I want to give the player an opportunity to test a number of aerial activities, from the Nationalist side that is. During the Civil War Cartagena was the scene of much aerial combat, becuse it was one of the Republics most important harbours, but the area did not see much land combat as such. So the front lines are spurious. The references to what is, at the same time, happening in the war is not.
Included in this campaign are 13 skins, that can be installed more or less automatically. Some of these skins are pretty old, of the low-res variety. I gladly accept hints of other skins that are now more up to date! With all those new wonderful maps of Spain coming up there will surely be a need for some new SCW skins!
This campaign works with both UP 2.0 and HSFX 4.1.
