No fps loss for the moment....

Looking really good , top work. Just one nagging doubt though - aren't all those Kagoshima docks ultra-modern stuff? They look very much like it to me.

Yea certainly...but the topology of the map is bad so it's an utopia to believe your are flying over a 39-45 world. when i started to populate harbors and fields i realise how much there is differences between reallity and this map. I just want to make the flight looks real even if it take distances to what Kyushu was as that period. For that someone should redo the map since zero with satellite datas and historical plans.

I don't find many WW2 pics from Kyushu cities in general but i found these 2 for exemple :

Kagoshima here

Fukuoka here

If you compare with google earth data today there is not many differences...These are big cities, they grew up after war but there isn't fundamental changes for habors. Cities grew up in direction to fields. It's the same for most of european cities.

I've been waiting and waiting, wonderfull work and our squad will be using it as soon as it's ready.
Love your work but not sure about those docks, they look to sterile, as if it's all new concrete and
without the usual crates and rails and whatever else is found on docks.

Sorry to be critical, I most certainly couldn't begin to do such work.
thanks,
Ibis.

It looks sterile because there is just some bildings on it, i can put complexe instllations and all the dock stuff.....but the question is all this isn't going to have fps cost ???

I agree these concrets looks to modern, there a lack of vintage aspect but they are done like this...will see what i can do for that. but remember all this concern some little parts of the map, the rest looks more natural. in fact i'm looking to find a way to have banks close to what they was at that time. and the map basically don't respect the real topology of real Kyushu.

I'm ok with critics no problem

redko, one suggestion: you could ask to a obyect-texture modder to swap out the banks textures from game files and to give them some "customization" in colour (need more dark grey mostly) aspect, variety and "old looking" to stay better and no more so-unnatural into your map, it's a pity that your hard and good work will be affect with a lackness of a so easy and quite quick (I think) restyling of 2-3 static obyect.

Maybe just a varying texture or colour would help, but mate I'll take it as is with thanks.
cheers.

I forgot to say "love those mountains" very nice.

What? What kind of agreement? Realese this beauty NOW please, and forget about agreements.

Thank you very much Redko; can

Just some patience *DZR*Chimanov...with agreement Redko means that fly-zo has to check folder and file structure is correctly done so we as members have no install problems. 'Cause there are some guidelines of how to do this but some modders didn't follow up the instructions. To avoid zillions of comments of install problems everything needs to be checked before release.
Give it some time before you can bomb or defend Kyushu.

Sorry, i ran out of patience with so much teasing done by Redko the past months

Give us a download link, we will "beta test it" come on. Its easy, three folders: _Tex; Map; add to all.ini... Voil
