Fw 190 d9 HSFX version
#1

Since few days i use HSFX by UP 2 switcher. The two Fw 190 d9 version ( 44 and 45 ) seems to be easer to fly. Less problem of stall, less problem of overheat, more hability in dogfight, I shoot easily Yak 9 in boom in zoom in poor altitude. Is it correctly historicaly ?

Thanks for your answer, sorry for my poor french english.

I just have to had a big thank you very much for all the modder s who work for the community. Before i just knnew WW2 aircraft, now i know the corean fighter such like F 86 Sabre and mig 15 and 17 !!! And in a few time, i gonna learn a lot of things about WW1 aircrafts without Wiki !!! One more time, thank you, thank you very much. :rocks:

The D9s were indeed faster aeroplanes than the previous installments in the Fw.190 series. This extra power was afforded by a change in engines from the BMW 801 radial to the inline Jumo 213A. The handling though is debatable, since it's all up to your piloting skill. I have no trouble with the A series or the D series, so that could be the level of practise you've had coming into play there.

Fw 190A-9 had a more powerfull engine than D-9, the main diference is, Radial Vs Inline engines, Radial although more powerful, they are slower to pickup rpm's and the most obvious one, they have worst aerodynamics (larger front profile).

So Dora's are more efficient with what they have than the rest of the A series.
