Hy guys! I am new here and having a big problem: I have Il 2 1946(unfortunately I don't have access to internet, so I play against the computer only) and I want to fly some of the AI controlled aircraft (Hs 129, B24

You'll need official patches 4.08 & 4.09 applied before adding either (or both - ultrapack) of the main mods.
If the patches are large , then the mod downloads are massive; so without access to a friend that has internet and
"μtorrent" installed to DL the mods there could be an issue downloading from Internet cafe, library etc.

Possibly someone will be able to post these downloads to you on a CD once you decide which to use.

I would suggest that you make a copy of your entire IL2 folder to a new location once patched to 4.09 so that you always have a clean version to roll back to (or apply the upcoming 4.10 patch to )

Ok, so:
1.get those patches(can i find them on this site?)
2.install them.
3. make a copy of the entire folder Il 2.
4.get Ultrapack(where can I find it and how I install It?)
5.install Ultrapack
that is all?

there are other mod packs such as HSFX as well.

I would personally recomend HSFX as it is an awsome Mod Pack, though, for performance reasons I may go back to UI. anyway, try to avoid double posting (I know, kind of Gay for me to critisize him seeing as how Im a bit post happy!)

Your going to need WinRar either way,

there are instructions in both the UI mod pack, and the HSFX, UI is much easier to install though it can be a pain in the ass to do so somtimes you have to download it three or four times to get it to work!

and then there is HSFX! which has by far the most content!

anyway, you need to let us know what path your going to take, If you want I can guide you through the Process (I know, Kind of Gay Considering how many times it took me to get my game running!) using Yahoo chat or even a Phone Line if you so wish!

thanks for helping me, I decided for the HFSX...I managed to find and download patch 4.08 and 4.09 whatever these items are...I guess we can talk here,since i don't have net at home.

I managed to install something(now I can fly the SM 79, some new Rata and Jap.birds...but I can't fly B 17, Hs 129....and new maps Bessarabia and a new sea...I installed a version HSFX 4.0, I need version 4.1 .Can anyone provide me with a direct link to download it?

HSFX 4.0 has flyable B-17 and Hs-129. Make sure the HSFX install went to the correct location. The default path for HSFX is a little confusing, and you need to direct it to your game, the same folder you directed the 4.08 and 4.09 patches.

Thanks Bulau,but I have 2 questions:

When I installed HSFX 4.0, I installed(extracted) only a part called version 4.0 exe.Is there another part of HSFX 4.0 that I should download and install?

I cannot find the link to download HSFX 4.1
