I kind of hope they dont restore it

I think putting it on display as is tells us more than sanding it down to the metal and making it flight worthy again

In that there are plenty of P-39 with less history than this one that they could make flyable again

I enjoyed it, thanks. I'd like to know , though, who was the pilot who gave his life in that P-39? Is there another segment on the pilot? Probably not, huh? Big Grin
