I've been flying online with no issues for ages and have even hosted before but since getting my new pc i have issues with hosting.
I have XP home edition SP3. Game setup is UP2.01. I have Avast antivirus with no firewall but i have my windows firewall switched on with all the il-2 exclutions as well as the portforwarding added to it. I have portforwarding set up on my new pc and tested with the portforward checking tool.
Up until today i have not been able to host any online flying, i've been able to join others but not host. While testing someone else's set up today for their hosting (which worked) we tried mine again and it worked. BUT after we both closed our games down then restarted them I could not host again until he had hosted first.
So the weird thing is, i can only host after he has hosted first and we have not closed our games down. It's like his hosting opens a way through for me to be able to host afterwards. We can't firgure out why this works like this.
Any idea's would be much appreciated. I am with the same internet service provider with the same modem/router and the same XP home edition just on a new pc. It's weird.
