Nope for related to his counterpart... ( ..they do look a lot alike with shape of both wings is quite identical !! ).

The french design is not specific for ground attack role, but an all out fighter.
First flew October 1941, that is more then a year after the Armistice, so German's took it away for trials.

The British design is a mod of "Lysy" for strafing the invaders. :wink:

Payen Pa.22 Flechair, French 1940 race prototype. There was supposed to be a pulsejet version of the same thing.

Payen also worked on several military applications of the same basic concept but the war stopped it all.
