Hi!
All of my online texts like player1 shot down player 2 are in russian.
I checked all of my netmessage.properties files and they were all in english.
I tried enabling my language mod and it didn't help either...

Check the conf.ini file and make sure that locale is set to EN.
Look in the RTS section of the file.

It's the netmessages_ru.properties that applies. If there is Russian in that file, then copy the contents of the netmessage.properties over it.

My locale was blanc.
I will try it as EN now.

Check the net messages file like Balu was talking about.
Make a copy of your netmessages.properties and call it netmessages_ru.properties.
That should solve your problem now.
Let me know if that doesn't do it.

O.k.
We'll try one last thing.
Delete your i18n folder in the root directory of IL-2 1946 and replace it with this one.

Well, I'm at a loss then.
The only other thing I can think of is that you have another i18n folder in the mods folder.
Check there and see if that is the source of your problem.

Well, this one has me stumped.
The only other thing I can think of for you to try is to reinstall the game.
Anyone else got any ideas on this one?

It may be one of these "I do not know why it happened, when the problem started, what causes it and it will go away when it feels like going away" -problems which I seem to have quite often, like the 5FPS I had some time ago, again you found nothing and I didn't do anything but it fixed itself.

I have the same problem but not on all servers. My appropriate folders are in English and config.ini is EN. I am suspecting that it has something to do with the server end of things.
Thanks for the info. I haven't seen any problems with my brother's game on the same server, and my problem seems to be on every server.
Yesterday I got one message in english, but rest in russian, WTF?
