Thanks for sharing this mod.
I'm using it on 4.10 without the class, preload and buttons files. I've no idea what detrimental affect that has on the sound.
Eg. Some of the in-cockpit sounds seem a bit weird, considering outside sounds so good, and there's a funny whine
in some of the engines that I think is supposed to be mixed into in the background or the engine noise rather than in the
forefront. Is it likely that the finely balanced mix of sound would be messed up by not using the class and buttons files?

Also I was wondering if a version of this will be released for v4.10 of the game soon, or will you wait for v4.11 to be released first?

Thanks again. Mods like DSM and UV2 make the game 5x better!

Installation:
1. Delete all soundmods, which uses before
2. Delete your Files folder
3. Put Files folder from archieve into root folder or MODS folder
4. Run game
!!Dont overwrite any files!!

I dont understand 1. , should i delete all sounds or just sounds mods that i have downloaded?

EDIT 2 : I deleted my files folder in my IL2 1946 directory folder and it was UP and now it crash at 20 % and 4.09m

Try running your UP updater utility

8) If you use only presets and sounds without classes and buttons this is best soundmod with naturally sounding fly-bys. I use it with UP.
Dont delete anything just put it to your mods folder. Try it you wont be dissapointed.

I fixed it and i am not using mods folder , i am using jgsme and i have download a STD folder for air ini and the other 2. But now i did something so i need to reinstall , my backup didnt work somehow . Can u please tell me how to do it detalied.

The sounds outside the cockpit are amazing; the flybys and distant sounds are indeed great.
However, the sound in the cockpit isn't good.
I don't know if that's because I'm not using the class and preload, but since I spend most time in the pit,
I went back to using the UV2 sound mod (again without class files, but it sounds ok).

I do have one question .
Is it possable to make the extenal wind sound a little lower ?
The cockpit wind effect is great , I would only like to lower the external wind.
Can I edit the .prs file ?

Could someone post a step by step installation instructions for stupid people like me? I have HSFX, and I'm a bit confused between the Readme in the mod and what is being instructed in this thread, and I'm having a hard time following.

I dont understand, what the problem?
1. Delete or remove all sound mods that you using now.
2. Delete or remove 'Files' folder from root folder of the game, if you have it.
3. Put 'Files' folder from my archive into root folder of the game.
4. Run the game
Simple, isnt it?
For uninstalling this mod just delete 'Files' folder from root folder of the game. And install your previously sound mods.
I cannot guarantee that this mod will work with other sound mods correctly.

I also have HSFX and I could not make this Mod work up to now. I've done steps 2 and 3 (I don't have any other sound Mod) but when I run the game I got a russian splash screen and a crash...
Any idea?
