Do I really need ENG sound mod?
I have Mod activator and wrapper but the mod doesn't work...

It will work fine with mod activator.
How have you installed it?
Have you added the required text to the static.ini file? ---- refer to the readme file.
Is the mod in the correct place in the MODS directory?
Should be in game root/MODS/Mod LAL_Fortification/3DO/............ etc
If you have extracted straight to MODS then you may have a double MODS folder?
The "Mod LAL_Fortification" bit can be any text but must be followed by the 3DO folder.
The folder naming with UI 1.1 is different to this.
You must only have one static.ini file. Do a search for static.ini in the game root and all sub folders.
If you have one in root/files and one in root/MODS/STD, only the one in STD will be loaded. This one must have the text entries put into it.
