I want the MAPS list in FMB to ONLY have 409 or Modded maps in the menu

I waould also like to rename them to sort to my tastes.

such as
ItalyAfricaGreece_by_vol
Sardegna_by_vol
LYBIA_N-E_by_JV69
Malta_by_mrz

instead of
vol_ItalyAfricaGreece
vol_Sardegna
LYBIA_N-E
mrz_Malta

is this all handed in the ALL.INI and does editing it have other ramifications?

you can change map names in: maps_ru.properties ( \i18n\ maps_ru.properties)

but if you insist in editing all.ini .... renaming map names won't hurt , just make sure you don't change map folder name nor load.ini name ( so missions have unchanged path to map's load.ini)

example :

vol_ItalyAfricaGreece vol_ItalyAfricaGreece/vol_ita_load.ini

ItalyAfricaGreece_by_vol vol_ItalyAfricaGreece/vol_ita_load.ini

If I rename them (or even eliminate them) in all.ini I affect the entire game

I want only to affect what appears in FMB but if I run somebodies mission that uses a map I renamed in FMB I do not want it affecting others missions I am playing

if you remove them from maps_ru.properties .... game will load names from all.ini

i really wouldn't know consequences for eliminating maps from all.ini , never tried that
