Unified mod installer - JU-87 Dive brake doesn't work now
#1

I just got the unified installer and I decided to try it out and see what the new diving sound would be like. But I start at 5000m and point straight down turn on the airbrake and it doesn't make a sound, not until like 500m off the ground and then it doesn't kick in to keep me from crashing either. Worked fine before the mods so I wonder whats up.

It also only seems tobe on the D5, unless this one isn't meant to be a dive bomber but I thoght that was just the G since it has anti tank onit.

The D5 has never had a sound for the dive brakes, though they still work, IIRC. Thats the 'Jericho siren' you're thinking of, fitted to some earlier Ju87's. But it slowed the already sluggish plane down, and was dropped on later models.

Yea but I hear a dive sound start at about 700 meters but I don't automatically level out like I do in the earlier models. Like with the dive brake on I just crash into the water. Is that how it works for the later ju-87s? You had to pull yourself out of the dive instead of letting the dive brake bring you level again?

I am not sure but the older models have manual bomb drop. You can change the altitude of the bomdrop with keys which you have to switch on in the key settings.

I am not really sure but you have to take a try. With the later Stukas you have to drop the bombs manually.

Yes. The D-3 version has an auto drop, the B-2 beeps and drops automatically a bit after... D-5 is self-drop.

You can type your drop altitude on your sight, anyway.
