Is it possible to have those flames in "our" game?

Me two i requested this mod about 2 weeks aigo with no reply from any modder, it would be nice to see some exaust flames so we can do a propper night fight for once

Most dedicated night-flying aircraft had flame dampers of some sort or another, which mostly canceled flame effects, so I've never considered them to be crucial. It's also easier to see aircraft at night in IL2 than it was in real life; by the time you'd be close enough to see the dampened flames on a real airplane, you're close enough to see the entire airplane, even if its nav lights are turned off.
I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard to add in small, permanent flame effects, though. Is there any reason why this couldn't be done? (FM/DM changes, hit on frame rates?)
It really depends on what plane on your aircraft your flying. On the P-47 and P-51 there's wasn't much for flames coming out of the exhaust. But for early war planes there is a lot of flames and smoke from the exhaust. I went to an air show and I saw a ME 109E fly and a I-16 Rata and all you could see come out of the engine was smoke.
