[WIP] Bell P-39 "Airacobra" cockpit repainted
#61

Hello Mangas, just wanted to say thanks again for the nice video and also to ask you a question.

Since the start IL2 P39 cockpit (late model N Q) was modelled with a missing metal frame on the upper part of the canopy thus giving slightly better upper front visibility in the game than in the real model. (this is very strange since it is modelled on the aircraft's model (external view) )

Is there any chance that you can model it? That would be nice!

Anyway, your work is as i said already excellent and i would be very pleased to fly your cockpit as it is in your very nice video.

Oh, and by the way: you rock!

I'm sorry, I know nothing in 3D modelling, otherwise we would have this "P-39 cockpit pack ultimate" released long ago... I'm a humble textures editor... That's the main reason why this project had been collecting dust on topshelf durin' last 14 months...
But luckily for the project, =SAS=crazyflak kindly offered his help to fulfil all my 3D cockpit changes requests... If you don't follow our SAS discussion, here's some screenies:

As you can see, he already fixed the bug you mentioned...

Not to say that guys from SAS1946 and Aviaskins are not doing a great job (they are doing great).

Your humility and talent together, that shows a lot of class.

So sorry if I maintain it against you, but you definitely rock

PS thanks for the links, much appreciated! Smile

Mangas and I are still working on this.

I estimate 2 months for it to hit the streets.
