Static.ini image/record id/title association program
#31

Some more :lol: Infantry mod stuff and some misc stuff that I was missing including fabianfred's destroyed objects stuff from this thread (The link is inoperative)here.

Just a note on ffb's destroyed objects, there are a few lines that have a "/" in them, replace with a "_" eg; [buildings.House$Dead-Cars/RSO], change to [buildings.House$Dead-Cars_RSO]. The reason is that Burns' tool reads everything after the $ as the file name for the image and you cannot have a "/" in a file name. This will need to be done in your static.ini file.

I'm going to start on the flag pack next, however I'm not going to include the flagpole, as this makes it hard to indentify which flag it is, so they'll be like this, hope that's ok :lol:

Flags and Fortification stuff in this one, this finally covers all the gaps that were in my installation, and I had some 1700 entries in my static.ini.

Uploaded an updated image folder. It contains all the standard unified 1.1 images.

I just want to say a huge thanks to Burns for putting this together - very nice. The hidden beauty of this program is that you can take the outBuildings.txt from a particular map's actors.static and compare it very easily to the _StaticInfoSTD.txt file this program produces to find out what objects a map is using that you do not have. All those people out there that are having trouble saving on the new maps should do themselves a favor and get this little app for that reason alone. Again, great work! -viking

Oh - and thanks Quelty for all the images - that was a lot of work, no doubt. -

Quelty Wrote:Hi BC,
The program reads "your" static ini and produces a html output with name, number and picture so that you can easily find the object in FMB. Screenie below of the top bit of mine;

The main link:
http://www.filefront.com/13879947/_StaticImages1.1.zip/

Then you might want the images for Unified 1.1:

For any other images, you might find them listed in other posts or you will have to get them yourself by capturing a screen image.

But these two downloads will definitely get you started.

ok, solved the problem, just had to place the exe file INTO the folder as well ( it wasn't extracted there...) ok, so, I'm in game, FBM, the menu didn't change, how exactly do I use this ? as I click the exe a new tab appears in my net browser, ( no images just some icons with the numbers and names ) ...I apologise, I'm a bit lost now...nevertheless, thank You for this most useful tool , it's no.1 ...thank You
